Hello Raid,

Is BugHunter compatible with Vista when ran as Admin?
I didn't see compatiblity list in any Changes LogFile. wink.gif
Raid
Yep. 32bit versions only, 64bit versions won't emulate DOS.

Are there any legitimate alt. download locations? That link leads to Ur I.T. Mate Group Intranet page.

Due to a problem with my previous hosting company killing the hosting without warning, the BugHunter domain is currently unavailable.

I am working on getting new hosting for Dustin's sub-domain, and hope to have it sorted out within a day or two smile.gif

Thanks. smile.gif

Sorry to all, BugHunter's home on the web was temporarily taken down; Mystery is sorting it all out.

Wow, I was wondering what happened to your site. I've been using BH for a long time to clean systems and use as an on demand scanner on my own. I searched the web and couldn't find anything about what had happened to your site and I was afraid you had become the victim of a hack attack by some malware maker. Glad to hear you're getting it sorted out and thanks for making such a useful malware removal tool.

I've set his site up on a temporary server till I find permanent hosting, just waiting for him to upload his files now smile.gif

Bughunter V2.2 is detecting META4.exe as unclassified Trojan 3:437. Virus Total= 0/37 MBAM =Clean etc...in fact i cannot find any reputable source that identifies it as anything but safe. Who's right?
exile360
It's probably hitting on it for the same reason MBAM used to hit on files from the software it comes from (SUPER Video Convertor): http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.p...ic=3556&hl=

Woops. it's probably a false positive. If you'll email me the log and the file sample:

bughunter.dustin@gmail.com I'll see that it gets removed from the database.

I don't use 'SuperVideoConvertor' and never have! I'm afraid 'Bug Hunter' has been erased completely, so no log.
exile360
Hmm. If you haven't used Super, then you shouldn't have that file. It could be actual malware. Did you let bughunter remove it or do you still have the file?

I'm not sure what 'Hmm' implies, i can only repeat myself..I do not and have never used 'Super'. I use a variety of different video file convertors and codecs, it's my job. I was only trying to be constructive, which Raid seems to recognise. BTW, my subsequent research on this suggests that Dustin has probably examined this file already.
exile360
Sorry about that, I meant nothing negative, hmm only meant that I was perplexed because the only software that I've seen to install that file was Super. You said you didn't use it so I was wondering where it came from. That's why I suggested it may be malware. Again, sorry you took offense, I wasn't questioning you or anything, just the nature of that file.
