I ran a Malewarebytes scan recently and came up with the following results

It says it cannot be removed and will remove on bootup. I hit okay for it to restart but then it never does. I have to do it manually. However, on restart it's still there. It will not remove. I went into safe mode and ran it again and did the same thing but even there it would not remove it. I'm getting pretty stumped now.

Additional Details:

This is only on my disk E (system disk), and I noticed when I was watching it scan a little bit that while it scans disk E it stays clean until Malewarebytes does it's "extra and heuristic scan" Then it pops up. Does this mean something?

Does anybody know what this is? Is it serious?

And above all, how do I remove it?

Any help you can offer me would be appreciated.

Hi malewarebytesuser and welcome to the forums!

First of all, your version and database is very outdated - the current version is 1.41; yours is at 1.33

In case you don't know where to update, open up the Malwarebytes interface, click on the update tab and then there should be an "check for updates" button. Click that and let it update. Then run a quick scan.

I am NOT an expert by any means but what was detected is probably not an infection if I understand correctly.
Hopefully someone who will be able to explain this to you will be able to jump in here

Are you sure you are looking at the right log?
This one is NOT recent. It's from last February.

You version of the program is very old. Please update to the latest version 1.41 and if you're still having issues then follow the directions below.
