Hi,

since today I get the error code 732 (0, 0) while trying to automatically update. I tried the fix for the internet explorer, but without success.

I'm using Vista Home premium 32-bit, a WLAN-connection and Anti-Malware 1.41, db-version 3063. What can I do to get the update to work?

Thanx in advance!

See if #8 from this FAQ helps. Please post back with the results. Thanks biggrin.gif

also, make sure these files are added to your trusted or exclusion list for your antivirus and firewall:

# C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
# C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
# C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe

Thanx for the advice!

I must admit I have read the thread "Error code 732 - Internet Explorer 8", but not the "Fixes for common problems and Error Codes".

You're right, that's it! In the registry there was a "1" instead of "0" and after fixing this, the automically update worked.

I'm just wondering why this just happened today and not earlier? What does it mean "GlobalUserOffline = 0" or "GlobalUserOffline =1"?

Kind regards
Jo

Do I have to change the registry after each system start?

No, you shouldn't have to change it after every start. You can also change the setting by opening Internet Explorer (it's the only browser this setting applies to) and clicking Tools (which looks like a silver gear in IE7 and IE8) and unchecking Work Offline.

After starting today the registry dword was 0 and the "Work offline" was already unchecked in IE8.

I hope this remains the same for a while dry.gif

Sorry to say I have done all of the fixes that are listed here. Allowing it through windows firewall, changeing the settings in IE, and running the script. We use a proxy server and I was curious if that may be the issue. Although I can get to the website from my desk, I just can't update. Please let em know your thoughts.

Thanks for any and all help.

Yes it probably is. You would need to check and see if your proxy allows you access to mbam-cdn.malwarebytes.org
If not then see if your site admin will put it on an allowed list.
