I was wondering if you know much about the Virus Vault and if so, could you answer some questions for me? I can't seem to find the answer to my question in their help information.

I know a pretty good bit about the Virus Vault. What would you like to know?

I think I may have answered my own question now but if you could clarify it for me I'd greatly appreciate it!

I used to wonder why there was a virus vault and what it was, and why the viruses just weren't gotten rid of completely instead of being held onto, but now if I understand correctly, its much like a quarantine situation. And also, if I understand correctly, viruses in the vault cannot harm your computer?

Is this the case and.or anything else about it that you can tell me?

Yep. virus vault is the same as the quarantine. It is safe to keep items in there and delete at a later date
