i tried downloading it manually as you said but this error popped up it says
documents and settings\abet\my documents\downloads\ivdf_fusebundle_nt_en.zip.part could not be saves, because the source file could not be read. try again later or contact the server administrator.
i tried again but this error popped again. is this gonna be a problem? thanks again.
you are probably just going to have to wait for the servers to settle down. I know Avira is aware of the issues with their "free" servers and it has a lot of users upset. Supposedly they are going to do something about it. We shall see

I got at least 1 or 2 files in the last 24 hrs - But you may recall I had a similar slow problem a few weeks ago -
After 2 days I just set it for manual and let it find its own way for an hour - They came through after that -
There still seems to be a glitch in Avira updates - I have been trying to update after a system restore (did not do a backup) and I am having troubles with manual updates now -
I let it run for 1 hour and got no response so I will try again in 4-5 hours -
There was not even a download 'quantity' in the update area -
Must be a big update on the way or a lack of response at the moment -
Unfortunately I think I deleted the last update with the restore - It ran a manual scan ok, so I will just wait for a while -

i received my updates as well. Just have to let it sit there for a while. Mine took about 25min. Although it might be quicker by now
