Unfortunately this won't apply to U3 and similar devices as they use a virtual CD-Rom

I notice it is meant to be a auto update but as yet I cannot see it on my system, Does anyone know how long it takes for MS to add this to the autos?
This was the last update I got today

This update is available through automatic updating and from the download center.
It says it will be both, If it not then how would most people even know to update it? Most my friends just let the auto update do its thing and never check... I used to be one of them

Hello chimpy
To check if you have this update "Windows XP (KB967715) Installed 4/21/09" installed.
Goto Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Check the "Show updates" box at top to view all updates, then scroll down to locate said update.

Great, weird that it made no mention of the autorun thing on the one I posted though, and the fact its over a year since vista got the update but not XP.

If you're running Vista then Service Pack 2 included this so it won't show up in the listed updates.
