Not sure about a download link.

For anyone that would like to manually check:

Open up Internet Explorer

wait for it to load with your homepage

click on tools on the LEFT TOP part of the browser, not the tools on the right top side.

click on "Windows Update"

The browser will do a quick check to make sure that you have the appropriate ActiveX installed to work with Windows Update.

Two buttons will show up in your browser

"Express" and "Custom" I recommend clicking on Express. It'll scan for a minute or few, and then if there are any updates to install, it will tell you! Then click on install these updates.

You're probably going to need to restart your computer afterwards.

Have you got any additional info, like the KB# or the download link (if available)? It might be useful for others smile.gif .

Edit: Just realized that I should have just put the information in my first post, so I am doing just that.

Had a brain fart :/

It's all good, thanks for posting it biggrin.gif .

edit: Looky what I found smile.gif . Apparently MS now has a cool little site about the latest updates when they're released (I discovered it just now when visiting the KB Article page through a link MS had there).

edit edit: Apparently this patch also applies to earlier versions of IE smile.gif .

@ Exile.

You're welcome! I had completely forgotten to include additional information and I replied to you to post the update instead of just editing my original post. Guess its past my bedtime tongue.gif lol

Edit: sweet sweet, thanks for the link biggrin.gif I'll be sure to hang onto it!

Second edit: Good to know! smile.gif

Too bad I don't use IE8 or IE7 or IE6, IE5 was a waste but, I love surfing with IE2.
mountaintree16
You're still using IE 2?

I like IE8 but then I started using a browser with OS/2 Warp that I had to install with 32 floppy diskettes.
