. Norton's a good example, so is Trend. Of course, it all started with rogues imitating legitimate software (Winantivirus looks just like TM in the gui). As far as resources, Kaspersky generally was (and always claimed to be) one of the lightest AV's, but 7 had its issues for sure. I was much happier with 8 (2009) when it came out. And so far 2010 hasn't been a disappointment at all. It plays nice with my other software and browsing large directories of various filetypes is even snappier than it was with 8
