Cannot update Malwarebytes Anti Malware 1.37 blink.gif

actually when I click on update button I get the update window as shown in the picture

so my MBAM of course connects to the malwarebytes.org server and starts downloading the updates but when the updates reaches to 36KB it stops and displays an error


plz refer the following picture for the error message and the following picture is of my windows firewall configuration

I have checked my Internet Explorer 7 its set to online, I even tried switching to firefox still the same problem

But I CAN update my AVG 8 free, and spybot-SD without any problems, I have done a full scan using all of them they dont detect any threats

Somone plz help me

Since you're using version 1.37, please try downloading the latest version (1.38) from here and install it to see if that fixes the problem.

OMG

I cannot download from that link also, I get the IE downloading window but the downloading pauses to 1% (i.e. same 36KB only) and remains like that for even 10 mins if I wait.

I use broadband connection 256kbps and the speed displayed in that IE downloading window is 36kbps

You are probably infected. Please follow the advice below.
