I now have wireless service and now also have only static interference on my speakers, and cannot even play a CD, no sound. My wireless service provider tells me that this is normal, ha! Can anyone help me on this, as i have tried what i know in order to correct this, but with no positive results.

Thank You

How about providing enough information to at least give someone a chance at helping you sort out this issue...

  • What Operating system are you running? (Include Service pack #)
  • What type of wireless service and devices are we talking about here? (Please include model revision for hardware used.)
  • What sound card are you using and what version of the drivers are you running?
  • What kind of speakers, and are they also wireless?
  • How close are the speakers to the wireless device?
  • Do you get any sound at all?
  • Does the "interference" go away when you turn off the wireless device?
  • Did installing a new piece of hardware make the speakers always produce a static noise and no normal sound at all?

This is just a start, but there are so many things that can cause interference in a case like this that it's going to take a lot of Q&A and some patience on your part to nail it down.
Could be something as simple as a conflicting IRQ.

PS: I don't really think this is the proper sub-forum for this topic.

Please describe what you have already tried to correct this, so that were on the same page and don't repeat everything for no reason.
